MALJEVAC, BOSNIAN-CROATIAN BORDER

Mama is the voice of many people fighting against the dehumanisation of migrants. She owns a small B&B in Bosnia, close to the Croatian border, but spends most of her time helping migrants with the bare essentials, such as food, clothing and human touch.  Although her actions often get her in trouble with the local authorities, she continues to be a mother figure for many of the “lost boys” on the Balkan migrant route.
