BALKAN MIGRANT ROUTE (BOSNIA – CROATIA – SLOVENIA)

Omar and Mohammed became our friends while filming and meeting many illegal migrants in the Bosnian border towns that have become migrant and refugee hotspots. They allowed us to enter their realities and shared with us the intimate experiences of their attempts to enter the EU illegally, having tried to enter more than 15 times and been repeatedly beaten and pushed back.

After the filming, they both successfully entered the EU, where they applied for international protection.
