RADENCI OB KOLPI, SLOVENIA

Tine L. and his family run a small but very lively tourist campsite and ecovillage on their private plot of land on the river Kupa. The campsite they run is actually part of their family house’s front yard. During the summer season, the family organises various adventure activities such as rafting, kayaking, canoeing and SUP. With the many activities that Tine carries out, his business is the only available employment and source of income for many locals and local suppliers.

As his village is the only piece of land that still has free access to the river, with no wire barriers on its banks, he is fighting to keep his land wire-free, working to preserve the local nature, his family business and jobs for the people of his village.
