RYBACHY, KALININGRAD OBLAST, RUSSIA

Andrey is a scientist from Kaliningrad who researches the biological rhythms of birds. He works in the biological station Rybachy and spends most of his time here studying bird migration. Andrey leads guided tours of the station for children and adults, for both Russian and German speaking visitors. Compared to the birds he studies, freedom is a much more complex issue for the people of Kaliningrad Oblast. Andrey knows from his own experience that the greatest challenge of the cross-border project he wants to carry out could be arranging visas for himself and his team.
