SERBIA – HUNGARY – CROATIA

A bit up-North from both Liberland and Mini-Yugoland, you reach the border with Hungary. Since 2015, Hungary has built a new 4-meters high iron curtain on its border with Serbia and Croatia to stop the influx of migrants. Slovenia has also erected a fence on its border with Croatia to deter migrants from crossing. See more.

This means that Croatia, a member state of the European Union but not yet part of the Schengen area, has become surrounded by barbed wire and disconnected from their neighbouring EU-member states Slovenia and Hungary.
